I know its been a very long time since I updated the blog but allot has been going with me and my linkshell but this warranted a post.
Eminence Linkshell on Lakshmi defeats Pandemonium Warden!!!! First attempt and only kill on the server!
The fight has to be one of the funnest kill in FFXI hands down. Our first Kill was months and weeks into planning and everyone’s efforts were second to none. It was down the the wire, and we got everything but the h2h. Enjoy a few of these pictures below.

Well I am doing the impossible, and that’s leveling a new job, RDM none the less. So far my opinion about playing mage jobs hasn’t changed, I’m still not a fan of it but for the sack of being diverse I guess I am willing to give it a shot.
When I’m not exping my RDM I am trying to give another shot at ZNM’s and getting those elusive pants for my Samurai. So much work for such a horrible drop rate, I seriousely hope someone at SE gets caught in a falling elevator for what this puts me through.
Trying to do everything I can to help Ali with her relic, I really want her to get it soon so we can do more with our time than just try and make gil and more enjoy playing the game but I always enjoy spending time with Ali and doing stupid things with her or my LS.
I guess after Ali is done with her relic I will stake a craft to 100, atleast then I will have something to pour my gil into. Even though crafting is “dead” according to some of my friends.

Well after more than a year of doing salvage and being extremely lucky for the most part on my entire set (expect for CC, DIE YOU SOB!!) I am finally 5/5 having finished my Usukane Haramaki yesterday. I spent most of today doing various things like Dynamis, ENM, Nyzle Isle and such and testing out full Usukane on sam for tp I have to say so far seems very nice. The gain in ACC is very welcomed and I don’t really feel the hit in maybe a small loss in haste. I still have allot more testing to do but I like this setup so far I must say. I honestly wasn’t a huge fan of the look of this body piece but its definitely growing on me. Thanks to my linkshell’s salvage group and Alibeemac for making this possible.
Well It’s been awhile since I updated and I’ve had allot of fun since I acquired my relic GK but the main reason I haven’t updated as of late is because I got a new full time job. Now having been out of steady work for almost a good year I am greatfull to be working again but I sure do miss the days of having nothing but FFXI adventures to persue. Due to this major change though my playtime has taken the obvious blow of massive proportions. Though that aspect of life sucks all work no play per-se… I still try to play as much as time permits. With that said just when I thought the game couldn’t get any better having recieved my Amanomurakumo, it still does. I have since then got a Byrnie +1, Haubergeon +1, Arhat’s Gi +1 and now Hikazu Hara-ate to complete my Usukane Haramaki though I still need the 15 but I’m in no rush considering ingots are SO MUCH right now. Hopefully soon I can complete the piece though. Full Usukane would be sexy as hell.
Well besides being incredibly busy with real life work and playing FFXI things seems to be ok in life. I just hope I can somehow find more time to play and enjoy the fruits of my labor in game. Until then here is a couple screenshots of random events.

Finally after 3+ years the dream has become reality. Yesterday I finally turned in eveything to recieve my Amanomurakumo. I honestly never thought I would ever obtain this but with the encouragement of my friends and linkshell’s, its finally in my hands. I have so many people to thank so I’ll try my best to remember you all. First off and most importantly, Alibeemac. My best friend in game and the person that has supported me since day 1 and has sacrificed her time and own gill to help me with my Amanomurakumo. I owe you so much I just hope someday I can find a way to repay you.
To everyone who donated one, ten or any ammount of currency to my cause, I thank you with all my heart. Every donation or deal or whatever counted, and I will forever be greatfull. To those of you who donated with large amounts of gil, Nith, Geditheh, Trivan. This is truely one of the best things I have ever expierienced in game and I am so happy that so many people on Lakshmi thanked me and wished me congratulations on this achievement as well as shared the moment with me.

Well Dynamis San’ doria finally payed out for once in 4 runs. It was insane! I ended up walking out with 931 coins total that day and the run itself was great with over 20+ in gear drops. The best part about it the whole shell seemed to really be in high spirits and enjoying themselves, and thats pretty amazing considering most people dred Sandy. Thank’s though to that amazing run I am now over 4000/7000k towards finishing Amano. Making progress but still some ways to go but atleast things are looking up ^^.
These days when I’m not hutning for HNM’s or doing other regular activities I’m sitting in Whitegate shouting for Coins. Why’s that? Well on Lakshmi people aka retards sell Coins at the most outragous prices at the moment. I wont go into it but all of you people who sell currency out in Rolen-mart for almost double their actual value, can go fuck yourselves. Anyways the other night I was sitting in WG just chilling standing around in my town gear which always changes but I have become fond of the new Argent Coat introduced and was pimpin it out while sleeping. For whatever reason I woke up in the middle of the night and decided to see if anything was going on in game and I to my surprise…
Besides the usual Pony/Worm/Tiamat Hunting killing my Dynamis shell is sorta going under a few changes but they are for the better and I am really excited for the future of the shell I have tried ot help mold. Hopefully I can score more coins soon I am actually starting to feel like I can finish this thing :).
This is my current Samurai /thf /war TP setup’s. I dont have a proper Polearm setup yet or a OSHI setup that I’m pleased with yet but I will post them as soon as I can. These setups will most likey be added to my updated Samurai Guide I am currently working on.
So yeah past week I took a break from posting stuff for a few days. Killed a handfull of Ixions, Odin, Sandworm you know, business as usual. I’ll post some picture later I suppose. Then yesterday was my third sponsor run and for the third time I get this from Dynamis - San’doria….
Not one single 100 piece dropped. I seriously must have the worst luck ever. I mean a full zone clear and nothing. Words cant describe the fail. To top that one of my best friends in game finally called it quits as he has to many commitments in real life to attend too. Part of me is happy for him because I know he is happy enjoying life another part will miss him allot though as he was one of the most fun chill guys to ever hang out with and talk with in game. Trivan, you will be missed my friend for life.
